Why did a match or chat disappear?
A match disappears when one of you unmatched or reported the other, or when an account was deleted. To protect everyone's privacy, we can't tell you which one it was.
Common reasons
- The other person unmatched you.
- One of you reported the other. A report also ends the match for both.
- The other person deleted their account.
Good to know
- If something about that person worried you, you can still report them for 30 days: open the Profile tab → gear icon → Contact & FAQ → Safety Center → Report someone you're no longer matched with.
- If someone you chatted with is banned for fraud or for pretending to be someone else, you may get a safety notice from us.
