How do I report someone?
Open their profile and tap Report user, or open your chat, tap ⋯ and choose Report. Reports are anonymous, and reporting also blocks the person. If you are in danger, call 911 first.
From a profile
Scroll to the bottom of the profile and tap Report user.
From a chat
- In the chat, tap ⋯ at the top → Report [name].
- Or in your Chats list, swipe the conversation to the left and tap Report.
From a group
- A message: press and hold it, then tap Report.
- A whole group: tap Report Group at the bottom of the group, or Report group in the group chat menu.
Someone you're no longer matched with
Open the Profile tab → gear icon → Contact & FAQ → Safety Center → Report someone you're no longer matched with. This works for 30 days, even if they unmatched you.
Then
Choose a reason, add details if you like, and tap Submit report.
Good to know
- The person is never told who reported them.
- Reporting a person ends your match and hides you from each other. Reporting a group doesn't block anyone.
- For intimate images shared without consent, you can also use Take It Down — no account needed.
