Why was my account banned or suspended?
We suspend or ban accounts that break our Community Guidelines or Terms. The app shows the reason, until when the suspension lasts or that the ban is permanent, and your account ID. If you think it's a mistake, you can appeal.
What you see
- Account suspended — for a limited time. The screen shows Until and a date.
- Account banned — permanent. The screen says This ban is permanent.
- The Reason and your Account ID.
While suspended or banned, you can't browse, match or message. After a while you may be signed out and see This account has been suspended when you try to log in.
Good to know
- To appeal, tap Appeal this decision. How appeals work.
- A ban doesn't cancel a PRO or VIP subscription. Cancel in the store.
- A new account with the same details is blocked after a permanent ban.
