What is Vennu?Vennu is an app for dating, making friends and going out in groups — built around real events and places in your city. It started in Miami.
Where is Vennu available?You can download Vennu and sign up anywhere. It started in Miami, where it has the most people, events and places. In a new area, Vennu grows as more people join, and you can join a waitlist.
How old do I have to be to use Vennu?You must be at least 18. You enter your date of birth when you sign up, and people under 18 can't use Vennu.
How do I create a Vennu account?Download Vennu, then sign up with your phone number, Apple or Google. After that you set up your profile: name, date of birth, email, photos and what you're looking for.
I didn't get my SMS codeCheck that your number and country code are right and that you have signal, then wait 30 seconds and tap Resend code. If it still doesn't arrive, sign in with Apple, Google or your confirmed email — or contact us.
I didn't get my email codeCheck your spam, junk and promotions folders for an email from Vennu, check that the address is spelled right, then ask for a new code after 30 seconds.
How many photos do I need?You need at least 4 photos and can add up to 6. At least one photo must clearly show your face.
Why wasn't my photo published?Our automatic check flagged the photo as nudity or sexual content, so it isn't shown to anyone. Replace it with another photo. If you think the check got it wrong, tap Contact support.
What are Love Mode, Friends Mode and Group Mode?They are three ways to use Vennu with one profile: Love Mode for dating, Friends Mode for new friends, and Group Mode for going out with friends as a group. You choose where you want to be seen.
How does photo verification work?You take a selfie copying a pose we show you. A person on our team compares it with your profile photos. If they match, you get a verified badge. Your selfie is private and deleted after the decision.
Which languages does Vennu support?The app is available in English, Spanish and German. Distances show in miles or kilometers depending on your phone's region.
Is Vennu free?Yes. Your profile, matching, chatting, groups, events, photo verification and up to 3 trips are free. PRO and VIP are optional memberships that add features like unlimited likes and VIP deals.
