Someone in a group is making me uncomfortable

You can report a message, a person or a whole group from the group chat. You can also leave the chat or the group at any time. If you are in danger, call 911.

Report

  • A message: press and hold it, then tap Report.
  • A person: in the group chat, open the members list, tap the person, then report them from their profile. This also blocks them.
  • The whole group: in the group chat menu, tap Report group.

Step away

  • Leave the conversation: group chat menu → Leave chat.
  • Leave the group: Edit Group → Exit Group.
  • If you're the group admin, you can remove a member.

Good to know

  • Reports are anonymous. The person isn't told who reported them.
