Someone is threatening to share my images
This is called sextortion, and it's a crime. Don't pay and don't send more images. Stop replying, save the messages, report the person in Vennu, and ask for help. You're not alone and it's not your fault.
What to do
- Don't pay. Paying rarely stops it and often leads to more demands.
- Stop replying and don't send anything more.
- Save evidence: screenshots of the chat, the profile name, usernames on other apps, and any payment details they asked for.
- Report them in Vennu. Choose Intimate image shared without consent or Asking for money or a scam.
- Report the crime to the FBI at tips.fbi.gov or ic3.gov. In danger? Call 911.
If images were shared
Use our Take It Down form to have them removed from Vennu within 48 hours of a valid request.
