How does the deck decide who I see?
The deck shows people who fit your filters and who are open to meeting someone like you. People who were active recently and are closer to you come first. Shared interests and languages help a little.
Who can show up
- Both ways: gender and age. You see someone only if they fit your Show me and Age range — and you fit theirs.
- Your side only: distance and PRO filters. These apply to what you see, not to who sees you.
- People you've blocked, reported or unmatched, or who blocked you, never show up.
- People you already liked or matched in this mode don't show up again.
Who comes first
- People who were active recently and who are closer to you.
- New members get a small boost in their first week.
- Shared interests, vibes and languages count a little.
- Someone who already liked you is more likely to show up soon.
- People with an active Boost are shown earlier, and VIP members get a little extra visibility.
- If you turn on showing people further away, they come after people inside your distance.
Good to know
- We don't use an attractiveness score.
