Beach time, walking, and the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse are what Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park holds at the south end of Key Biscayne.
Visitors swim and walk the beach, bike or hike the park paths, fish from the bay seawall, and paddle from the canoe and kayak launches. Guided tours go through the 1825 lighthouse and the keeper's cottage. Bikes and kayaks are rented on site.
Florida State Parks runs the park. Days stay open and unhurried.
