Ball & Chain Saloon opened in 1935. The Barlington Group began an extensive renovation of the building in preparation for its reopening as Ball & Chain, at 1513 SW 8th Street in Little Havana.
Ball & Chain has live music seven nights a week and a Pineapple Stage. The bar pours The World Famous Ball & Chain Mojito, and the kitchen lists the Sandwich Cubano, Ropa Vieja, and Masitas de Puerco. There is no cover charge on any night.
Open Monday from 11 in the morning until midnight, Tuesday through Thursday until 1 in the morning, Friday and Saturday until 3 in the morning, and Sunday from 11 until 1 in the morning.
