Charcoal is how the kitchen cooks. Typical plates include Yuca Cheese Puffs, Half Chicken a la Brasa with crispy smashed potatoes and aji verde, Charcoal Grilled Octopus, and Seafood Parrillada. On the cocktail list is the Calm Before the Coconut, rum and cachaça served in a Florida coconut.
Chef and owner Michael Schwartz frames the restaurant around local ingredients and the energy of the waterfront: Latin-inspired cooking, served without fuss.
